Over and over again we hear of these "smash and grab" burglaries, so why do people continue to leave purses, wallets, etc. in their vehicles??

Seriously WHO leaves all that stuff in their cars????? We've been hearing about wallets, purses, cell phones, iPads, laptops, diamond rings, watches, etc. being stolen from cars in the area for months now....and then the other cars that have been stolen because their owners left the keys/fob inside the vehicle....insane...honestly. Basking Ridge recently reported two new cars (BMW & Mercedes) both stolen from the owner's driveway and the key fobs were left inside the cars with the doors unlocked. I mean, seriously, people...WHO DOES THAT? Time to put your brain back in your skull and bring your stuff in the house with you! Good grief...
