'Frankly Speaking' About New Cancer Discoveries in October
Free workshops to be held at The Wellness Community of Central New Jersey in Bedminster.
This fall, Frankly Speaking About New Discoveries will be offered at two different times and locations hosted by The Wellness Community of Central New Jersey.
These workshops will offer people with cancer and their loved ones the opportunity to learn about innovative treatments and gather information to help make informed decisions and improve their quality of life.
The workshops will be held:
Thursday, Oct. 6, 6–8 p.m., The Chelsea at Warren, 274 King George Road, Warren/Guest Speaker: Mila Gorsky, MD, Medical Oncologist, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center-Basking Ridge. Dinner is included.
Friday, Oct. 28, noon-2 p.m., Central Jersey Oncology Group, East Brunswick/Guest Speaker: Edward Licitra, MD. Lunch is included.
The Wellness Community of Central New Jersey will soon become Cancer Support Community Central New Jersey. The official name change will happen on Oct. 20.
The Wellness Community of Central New Jersey is an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. The Cancer Support Community assists people affected by cancer at nearly 50 locations worldwide with 100 satellite and off-site programs and includes three international centers and online programs.
At The Wellness Community of Central New Jersey, all programs are free of charge.
