Library program features a reference archivist on how to use library research tools.

 

You Need To Know The Zoning Board Meets: The township board of adjustment meets at 7 p.m. at the municipal complex.

You Need To Know The High School Board Also Meets: When the Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education comes to order at 7 p.m., members will hear to reports: the first, a discussion of the high school's use as an emergency shelter for people left homeless by Hurricane Irene, will be made by Somerset County Director of Public Health and Safety William Stahl, followed by the school's annual violence report from Principal Thomas DiGanci.

You Need To Know The Nuts in Your Family Tree: A Warren Township Library program at 7 p.m. will introduce participants to methods of geneological inquiry, with Catherine Stearns Medich, a reference archivist at the New Jersey State Archives. Now you can learn all the branches in your family history. 

You Need To Know Adult Sports: Looking for a frinedly game of basketball, or perhaps some co-ed volleyball? Rec sports are a great way to stay healthy, so head to the middle school at 7:30 p.m. for men's rec basketball, or hit the gym at Central School at 7 p.m. for co-ed volleyball, both sponsored by the township Recreation Commission.

If you've been stuck 'twixt the shot and a print, stop by the Long Hill Library at 7 p.m. tonight, when professional photographer Walter Choroszewski will show you not only basic photo editing techniques, but also tips and tricks for emailing and printing photos.
