Three Warren residents have been appointed to the New Jersey-Israel Commission by Gov. Chris Christie.

Rabbi Randi Musnitsky, Lawrence Lerner and Gerald Flanzbaum were named to the commission which seeks to develop trade, cultural and educational exchanges.

Lerner and Flanzbaum are current members of the commission, but this is the first time Rabbi Musnitsky has been appointed.

The commission was established in 1988 by Gov. Thomas Kean to "implement the goals of the Sister State Agreement," according to the New Jersey website
