New Florist Shop Opens Saturday

AO Florist grows from Far Hills woman's event planning business.

AO Florist, a division of Amazing Occasions, has announced it will open its store location at 50 Mount Bethel Road Saturday.

AO Florist is the area’s only full-service florist offering everyday arrangements for any occasion including birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, holidays, and much more.  Customers can shop in store seven days a week or order anytime online.

AO Florist also specializes in floral design for weddings and events including pre-event private consultations and in-store wedding previews featuring full table arrangements and more.  AO also offers free delivery and minimal set up charges to all wedding venues within 30 miles.

Some of the many special touches AO Florist offers its customers include delivery confirmation via email or text message with a photo of the actual arrangement being delivered.

It is also partnering with local vendors to offer their customers quality products such as gourmet chocolates, luxury candles, handmade cards and gifts.  They will also be running a "recycle your vase" program where anyone can bring in a vase they have at home and have it filled for 15 percent off the arrangement price.  AO also employs a labeling system to let their customers know which flowers are highly fragrant, low allergen, or organic.

With her family rooted in the area, AO Florist owner Kelly M. Spillman is looking forward to servicing the residents and businesses of Warren and its surrounding towns.

After studying business in college she launched Amazing Occasions, a wedding and event planning business.  Based in her hometown of Far Hills, she planned weddings, Sweet Sixteen parties, and corporate events.  As her focus shifted more toward the floral aspect of her business, she developed a strong desire to open a full retail florist.

“I wanted to open AO Florist because while doing event planning and working with clients on their floral designs, I noticed a need for quality, customer service oriented florists,” Spillman said. “Our florist is founded on those principles; nothing leaves our door that I wouldn't send to my own family and customer service is our highest priority. We believe when you purchase flowers, whether as a gift or for yourself, the experience should be as pleasant as the flowers themselves.”
