Silk Road, Hunan Tea Garden Leads Poll

Whether you crave Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian—or Afghan—tell us who your favorite is.

When hunger strikes, we've found ourselves frequently heading to the shopping center at 43 Mountain Blvd., where one is offered a choice of fine cuisine: there's sushi and Japanese foods at Sikikou Japanese Hibachi Restaurant,  across the way the fantastic flavor of Silk Road Afghan Restaurant, and at the front of the center, TRU Thai. Is there anyplace offering more variety so conveniently anywhere?

Warren may not have as many clothing stores or karate centers as some nearby towns, but when it comes to fine Asian cuisine, the township is the undisputed leader. Residents can choose from long-time favorites like Poojah Exotic Indian Cuisine, Sapporo Sushi or the fine Hunan Tea Garden, grab a quick meal at Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant or China City Restaurant, or savor the sushi at Mr. Pi's.

And in recent months, the menu has gotten even longer, with two new fine establishments offering original variations and combinations of Asian favorites: A Calcutta Affair and Aikou Asian Cuisine.
