VIDEO: Board Assures Students of Arts Support

A group of about a dozen Watchung Hills Regional High School students attended Monday's meeting to demonstrate their concerns over recent changes in the Arts Department.

At its Sept. 8 meeting, the school's board of education placed supervision of the Arts Department under World Languages Supervisor Brad Commerford. The move created a new, interdisciplinary department of World Languages, Arts and Culture, and some students, parents and board members said they believed the change represents a reduction of support for the department.
