Watch for Lost or Stray Pets After Hurricane
One family is looking for their dog—are others missing beloved pets?
A North Plainfield family is still hopeful their Portugese Water Dog named Hudson can still be found, even though he hasn't been seen since Oct. 31.
Being very emotionally sensitive, many dogs and cats become stressed when storms approach. During storms, pets can become separated from owners—following Hurricane Katrina, more than 6,000 lost pets were found; some reunited with their owners while others were placed with new owners.
If anyone lost a pet, post your missing pet here—or tell us if you found a stray animal after the hurricane.
And if you should come across Hudson, call Kristyn at 201-401-6728 or Larry at 336-613-5001.
