The comedy, George Washington Slept Here, written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, chronicles the trials and tribulations of Newton Fuller who craves – and gets – “a little place in the country to call his own.” Unfortunately, the place is not what he and his family expect. No water, no windows, no roof, quarrelsome neighbors and nagging family members make for an exciting and funny theatrical event. The story moves along at breakneck speed, introducing a parcel of eccentric characters and situations. In the end, those who thought Newton was crazy, discover that his desire to live in the country was realistic all along.
The cast of 21 includes junior Matt Fiacco as Newton, senior Samantha LaScala as Annabelle. Senior cast members include Ben Bouffard, Valerie Riccardi, Alex DeMarco, Daniel Grant and Travis Knopf.
