Wednesday is Good Day To Sign Up as Volunteer for Beautification Day, Brite Nites

Volunteers are needed to sign up for two upcoming events, starting with this Saturday's Warren Beautification Day, an annual event to help keep Warren clean and beautiful.  

Beautification Day, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will begin at the township's Public Works Garage, 1 Bardy Road. This annual event helps keep the Township of Warren beautiful. Clean-up efforts will include cleaning Warren Township parks, nature trails, the municipal grounds, and roadside litter removal. Supplies will be provided to all volunteers.

Everyone is welcome, and refreshments will be served. Those who want to join in should contact Doug Buro at 908-753-1223 to register or for further information.

Brite Nites in October

Volunteers also are needed for the annual Brite Nites fundraiser to be held at Wagner Farm Arboretum later this month.

The annual fundraising event at Wagner Farm turns pumpkin carving into a fine art, and also includes refreshments and scary scenes.

Volunteers are needed to set-up props now, or to be part of the fun and action on event nights!
