Real Life Monuments Man to Speak at WHRHS
Harry Ettlinger, one of the original Monuments Men, will be the guest speaker on Thursday, May 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Watchung Hills Regional High School, Warren. The evening is co-sponsored by Chai Center for Jewish Life and the Watchung Hills Regional High School History Department and admission is free.
As one of the original members of the WWII Monuments Men, Mr. Ettlinger will share his personal experiences in locating and recovering Nazi stolen art. He will reveal the truth about this important role in preserving cultural treasures.
