The Duprees - Free Outdoor Concert July 28

FREE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES CONTINUES JULY 28

WITH CLASSIC RHYTHM & BLUES FROM THE DUPREES

 

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Park Commission Free Summer Concert Series at Duke Island Park on Old York Road in Bridgewater will continue on Sunday, July 28, 2013, with a live performance by the classic rhythm & blues group, The Duprees. The concert is scheduled from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.

The Duprees are known world-over for their romantic interpretations of some of the most beautiful love songs ever written.  Hailing from New Jersey, The Duprees first struck gold with You Belong to Me in 1962.  Their unmistakable sound was born, and the hits kept rolling, including Have You Heard, My Own True Love, and Goodnight My Love.  With 40 years in the recording business, The Duprees have never slowed down, still touring and recording after more than 50 years!

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring, picnic baskets, chairs and blankets for a beautiful evening of entertainment under the summer skies. Ample parking is available.
