50 Turn Out to Help Town Cleanup

Annual project scours trail, streets for trash.

More than 50 township residents helped cleanup Warren streets and trails Saturday, as part of the Department of Public Work's annual project.

Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, families, members of the township Trails Committee and Recreation Commission, and several non-profit organizations helped the DPW by picking up trash as they walked all around town.

Volunteers were thanked with a free lunch, drinks and a goodie bag full of recycled items to take home with them.
