A Butterfly Kind of Sunday

Two events will feature lessons on butterflies, and how they live and grow.

Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening. It’s your time. Take it.

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

This weekend, butterflies will reign supreme with two events to learn about and see those former caterpillars.

First, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, Fairview Farms is hosting “All About Monarch Butterflies” on Larger Cross Road in Bedminster. Guests will have the opportunity to walk around the farm in search of Monarch eggs and caterpillars, while also learning about life cycles and migration, before making a butterfly “house” to watch the metamorphosis of the butterfly.
