A Cool Start for Township Concerts Under the Stars

It will be a musical day in Warren, with Mt. Horeb students performing and a free concert.

The heat wave we had is forecast to be over, with today's high tempertaures only around 80 degrees and not well above it, as we've had for the last few days. This would be a great time to catch up on those outdoor projects.

You Need To Know Elementary School Arts: Mt. Horeb School's young musicians and artists will be showing off their skills today—parents and guests can enjoy the third-grade class performing on recorders and the fourth- and fifth-grade band in concert, beginning at 6:15 p.m. The school is also holding its art show from 3:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. for all students.

You Need To Know About Championship Lacrosse: To see some of the best varsity mens lacrosse teams in New Jersey, stop by Watchung Hills Regional High School, which is hosting the public and non-public school Group 3 sectional finals today. Neighboring Ridge High School plays Moorestown at 7 p.m. for the public school title.
