Annual Festival Aims at Understanding Indian Culture

The Hindu Temple of Bridgewater hosts its 12th annual cultural festival this weekend.

Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening. It’s your time. Take it.

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

Indulge in a bit of multi-cultural appreciation this weekend at the 12th Annual Indian American Festival in at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset. The festival, which begins at noon and runs until 10 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, offers a dance competition, Karaoke singing competitions, children's activities and Indian food for those who attend.
