It's 'Wrestling Wednesday'

Wrestlers from grade school to high school will be on the mats today.

You Need To Know WWE: That's Warren Westling Entertainment, and it means from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., wrestlers from grade school through Watchung Hills Regional varsity will be on the mats today at the high school. The fun begins with matches hosted by the Watchung Hills Regional Wrestling Association, followed by Warriors JV and varsity wrestlers taking on John F. Kennedy Memorial High School in the team's first home match of the season. Here's bonus: Watchung Hills students attending the match can get a really cool free T-shirt showing their support for the local grapplers.

You Need To Know Library Registration: It may be a new year, but as sure as February follows January, the Warren Township Library has some programs you'll want to attend this winter, from ways to save energy and money to yoga and meditation programs. Registrations for the programs begin today at the library (next week for kids' programs).

You Need To Know Early Soccer Starts: Get your toddler started on soccer with the Sports Domain Academy—Gillette Peanuts soccer program for three- and four-year-olds. The program kicks off today at 200 New Vernon Road in Gillette—head to the SDA website for more information. 

You Need To Know Jordan Sonnenblick: The author of "Dodger and Me" and Schneider Family Award winner "After Ever After" will discuss his work as an author of youth-oriented books at the , at 32 S. Maple Ave. in Basking Ridge. The event will begin with a “Meet and Greet” at 5 p.m. for adults, followed by a 7 p.m. program open to all ages during which Sonnenblick will take questions from students.
