Mt. Horeb School celebrates diversity with International Day.

You Need To Know Well-Rested Students: It must be like a dream come true for Watchung Hills Regional seniors: they get to sleep in and head to school at 10:30 a.m. The seniors' late start is courtesy of the State of New Jersey: while they're getting a little extra shut-eye, juniors are taking the High School Proficinecy Assessment; sophomores and freshmen are attending special programs. 

You Need To Know International Studies: It's International Day at Mt. Horeb School, so students will be getting samples of food, culture and language from around the world.

You Need To Know Evening Story Explorers: Kids ages 4 to 8 can enjoy almost-bedtime stories and a quick craft project tonight between 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. at the Warren Township Library.

You Need To Know Social Media: Understanding how kids use social media, as well as the dangers such sites can present, is a complicated subject for many parents. Learn how to protect your kids tonight at the 's presentation "Growing Up with Social Media: The Good, the Bad and the Unknown," at 7 p.m. at 1 Diamond Hill Road in Berkeley Heights. The free presentation will feature Pediatrician Stacey Tavel, MD, and Melissa Breslin, a  Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

You Need To Know Township Meetings Galore: Three township commissions will be meeting at the municipal complex today—the Technology Coordinating Committee meets at 9 a.m.; the Volunteer Fire Board of Chiefs meet at 7:30 p.m., and the Environmental Commission meets at 8 p.m.
