Author to Discuss Mysterious Side of New Jersey

NJ resident and writer Peggy Ehrhart to talk about mystery novels that include the Garden State on April 12

New Jersey is known for its traffic congestion and now the Jersey Shore reality TV show, but the Garden State also has the distinction of inspiring many mystery writers.

Author Peggy Ehrhart is offering residents a tour of the mystery novels whose settings range from the Pine Barrens to the Chesapeake Bay region at the Warren Township Library from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. on April 12. During her free talk on "Mysterious New Jersey," Ehrhart will discuss the work of authors such as Janet Evanovich, Harlan Coben, Robin Hathaway, Chris Grabenstein and Richard Price among others.

Ehrhart, a former college English professor who lives in Leonia, is the author of the Maxx Maxwell blues mystery series including her latest book Got No Friend Anyhow.
