You Need To Know About Town Hall Meetings: U.S. Rep. Leonard Lance, R-7th Dist., will be hosting a twon hall meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at  the Watchung Municipal Building, at 15 Mountain Blvd. In addition to discussing issues confronting Congress, members of Lance's staff will be on hand to help residents with any issues with federal agencies they may be having.

You Need To Know About Feeding the Hungry: Kids in the fourth through sixth grade will want to go to , 45 Church St., Liberty Corner, at 5:30 p.m. to join in the Liberty Corner Kids' project to grow a "Give Love Away" garden, in partnership with English Farm. Produce from the garden will be distributed to local food banks, soup kitchens and families in need. Preregistration is required, so call 908-647-0340 to register or for more information.

You Need To Know Songs of the Past: And a special 6:30 p.m. concert at the Berkeley Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center by Laura Ekstrand, Clark Carmichael, Harry Patrick Christian and Roberta Smith will be a great place to begin learning. The performance is free, sponsored by the Berkeley Heights Library. The center is at 35 Cottage St. in Berkeley Heights.

You Need To Know About Fundraisers: Where's Mr. T  when you need him? The Lupus Foundation of America is sponsoring a gold purchasing event at 7 p.m. at 150 Morris Ave., Springfield. A portion of the proceeds from the gold purchased at the event will go to the Lupus Foundation. Call 973-379-3226 for more information.
