Cento Amici Honors Hall of Fame Coach at Alfie's

Event celebrates St. Anthony's Bob Hurley.

Hall of Fame Coach Bob Hurley of St. Anthony High School was inducted as this year’s “Honorary Member” at Cento Amici’s 24th Annual Dinner at Alfie’s Ristorante Italiano in Warren. 

Hurley has been the Head Coach for St. Anthony High School in Jersey City for more than 40 years and holds an impressive record of 1,049-110, which makes him the “winningest” high school basketball coach in New Jersey history.  Devoted to doing more than just coaching, Coach Hurley is actively involved in helping the youth in his community.

Founded in 1989, Cento Amici (100 friends) is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting education in New Jersey. With a mission to enhance the educational opportunities for those who need it most, Cento Amici has granted nearly $1 million in NJ scholarships since its founding.
