CERT Team Ready for Added Members

During the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, Warren Township's emergency response was recognized by most in the area as exemplary, with services and communications helping many residents make it through the stressful time.

Much of the credit goes to the volunteer members of the CERT team, who helped staff warming centers, overnight shelters and the Office of Emergency Management in the municipal complex.

If you're interested in becoming a member of the CERT, you're in luck: county-sponsored classes providing all the training needed are starting at the end of the month. Residents can complete the PDF application and submit it to the township to participate.
