Chelsea's Alison Manasso Tapped for Leadership Program

Will join three-day symposium in Washington, DC.

’s Regional Director of Operations Alison Manasso has been chosen by the American Health Care Association (AHCA)/National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) as a Future Leader in Long Term Care.

Manasso will participate in a year-long program that offers training and guidance for long term care professionals who have demonstrated leadership potential and an interest in representing the interests of long term care providers at the state and national levels. The program covers the latest theories in quality management, customer satisfaction and leadership.

Her first stop will be a three-day symposium with other future leaders June 27–29, 2012, in Washington, DC.

“You were nominated and selected because you have exhibited leadership characteristics at the state level that prepare you to serve in future leadership positions," said Neil Pruitt Jr., chairman of AHCA/NCAL.

“It’s really an honor to be chosen,” responded Manasso. “I’m looking forward to participating and learning from my colleagues across the country.”

Manasso, a Certified Assisted Living Adminstrator (CALA), has held a number of leadership positions at Chelsea Senior Living, including executive director, since joining the company in 2003. She is a resident of Freehold.

The American Health Care Association (AHCA)/National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) represents nearly 11,000 assisted living communities, nursing homes, sub-acute centers and residences for people with developmental disabilities.

Chelsea Senior Living operates 15 assisted living communities in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, offering a range of services from independent living to specialized care for people with memory impairments and behavioral issues.
