Chinese School to Celebrate New Year at WHRHS

Murray Hill Chinese School to showcase students' talents Saturday.

The pubic is invited to join the celebration launching the Year of the Snake, at Murray Hill Chinese School's Chinese New Year celebration presentation, Saturday.

The school will showcase its students' skills and talents in performances in the Performing Arts Center at Watchung Hills Regional High School from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The program includes a Dragon dance, Chinese yoyo presentation, Adult Tai Chi Quan, poetry readings, as well as kung fu and sword routines.

The presentations are free.

Murray Hill Chinese School is the largest volunteer-operated school in New Jersey with over 400 students, teaching Chinese language and culture to kids and adults. The school meets on Saturdays at Watchung Hill Regional High School.
