Churches Host Maundy Thursday Services

You Need To Know About School Funding: Warren Township Schools Superintendent Tami Crader continues her coffee meetings with residents about the district's proposed budget, with meetings at the district administrative offices at 10 a.m. If you have any questions, or just don't know about it, stop in and ask Dr. Crader.

You Need To Know About Garden Wreaths: Stop by the Warren Township Library between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. and help your preschooler 3-years-old and up make a garden wreath. There's no need to register, and the library provides all the materials.

You Need To Know About Jewish Traditions: Temple Har Shalom is offering a Lifelong Learning Series for women to discuss questions relating to ethics, morals and values with Jewish answers with Rabbi Randi Musnitsky. The meetings are held from 7:30-9 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. 

You Need To Know About Good Friday: Stonecrest Church will present the one-act play "Where He Lies," an dramatic presentation of the aftermath of Good Friday to the attempted cover-up of the Empty Tomb and the miraculous Resurrection of Jesus, at 7 p.m. Admission is free and open to all, but you can reserve tickets online at www.stonecrestchurch.com. 

You Need To Know About Maundy Thursday Celebrations: Local churches are hosting Maundy Thursday events, as this year's Holy Week approaches Easter. Trinity United Church, on King George Road, will hold communion and Tennebrae Worship at 7 p.m.; parishioners at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church will celebrate Mass at 7:30 p.m.; and Pilgrim Congregational Church, on Mountainview Road, will hold an Evening Communion Service of Rededication at 8 p.m.
