Don't Want to Shop? Check Out These Options!

We're looking out for those who don't want to shop tomorrow.

Tomorrow may be Black Friday, but we imagine that not everyone wants to spend the entire day shopping [right?].

So for those who prefer to do something other than the requisite shop til they drop on the day after Thanksgiving as the holiday season officially begins, we've come up with a list of five things you can do instead.

  1. After a day of feasting, a day of exercise is probably in order. Why not head over to any of Warren's trails or Somerset County Parks for a nice walk on the trails?
  2. We know there are lots of leftovers from the feast—try some new fancy recipes and send them to john.patten@path.com so we can share them with the rest of Warren!
  3. Everyone put in a lot of work to prepare for the holiday. So on the day after, how about treating yourself to a nice day of relaxation? Try for some alone time at Jasmine Salon and Spa, Massage Envy or Lotus Point Therapeutic Massage, by calling and making an appointments for an afternoon of massages and facials.
  4. The Warren Township Library will be closed, the will be open until 5 p.m.—why not take a break from all the craziness of the holiday season by curling up with a nice book?
  5. Of course the most obvious is to stay here with Warren Patch, and catch up on all the Warren news you might have missed in the excitement of holiday preparations!
