Egg Hunt, Parade Rescheduled

Earth Day participants hoping for a little "global warming" this morning.

The Warren Township Recreation Commission Easter Egg Hunt and Parade have been rescheduled to April 23, due to the weather.

Rain is expected later, but in the meantime, a cold wind and chilly temperatures are hampering efforts at helping residents learn about envirommental issues.

Presenters include the Warren Township Library, with a display of crafts and uses to recycle old magazines and books, the Wagner Farm Arboretum, Warren Recreation Commission, Watchung Hills Regional High School, Mt. Horeb School, Girl Scouts and electric vehicle enthusiast Michael Thwaite, whose sporty Tesla coupe is open for inspection (it uses about $25 in electricity for his 1,500 monthy miles, he noted).
