Five Special Celebrations This Weekend

Whether you're marking Passover or Easter, gather your family to celebrate.

Mark this weekend's celebrations with family and friends at these events.

You Need To Know About Indoor Labyrinths: Trinity United Church will be open from noon to 3 p.m. today for the church's annual Good Friday Indoor Labyrinth Walk Vigil—stop by, walk the indoor labyrinth, sit in meditative prayer, and light candles.

You Need To Know Where To Contemplate the Stations of the Cross: will have the Stations of the Cross set up for visitors to come by anytime between noon and 6 p.m., or enjoy an evening walk through the outdoor Stations at beginning at 7:30 p.m.

You Need To Know About Egg Hunts: Kids love the challenge of racing to find the eggs—take them to Warren Township's fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt and bike parade for kids 3-10 years of age at 2 p.m. April 7 at the (if you haven't already registered, call the Recreation Commission at 908-753-8000, ext. 271; There is a $5 entry fee per child). Stonecrest members' children (up to the fifth-grade) will also have an egg hunt at 10:45 a.m. Sunday on the church's front lawn.

You Need To Easter Services: Mt. Bethel Baptist Church starts the celebration earliest, with an Easter Sunrise Service at Washington Rock State Park at 6:30 a.m., followed by a brunch at 9 a.m. and Easter Worship service at 10 a.m. OLM will celebrate Mass at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and noon (and there's an Easter Vigil at 8 p.m. Saturday); Stonecrest's Easter Sunday Worship Services will be at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. has Easter Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church marks Easter at 10:15 a.m.

You Need To Know About Passover Seders, Too: The will host a traditional Community Passover Seder at 8 p.m.  Saturday. The cost for the meal is $36 for adult, and $18 per child. For information, call 908-604-8844, ext. 229 or respond online.
