Bring the family out and enjoy the carnival fun and games.

You Need To Know It's Time For Carnival: A pair of special fundraisers to benefit Watchung Hills Regional teacher Erin Hodge, who returned to work last week after being paralyzed in a fall in June, will kick off with a 5 p.m. family-oriented Carnival in the school's gym tonight. That will be followed by a dance at 7 p.m. It's just $10 to get in and enjoy the face painting, games, inflatables, cotton ccandy, and raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing, food and more.

You Need To Know Extra Points: The members of the Watchung Hills Regional girls basketball team get extra points for putting their competitive natures aside tonight (briefly) as they help their opponents on the Bernards High School team raise money for Campbell Hoyt, a 5-year old Bernardsville girl undergoing treatment for cancer. The teams are donating the admission take and proceeds from auctioned items, including New Jersey Devils and Broadway show tickets, to Campbell. Head to the gym at Bernards High School, at 25 Olcott Ave. in Bernardsville, at 5 p.m. to help out.

You Need To Know Winter Festivals: It will feel more wintry tomorrow, when the Warren Township Library launches its annual Winter Festival. Stop in between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and join in the fun—there will be games, snacks, crafts.
