You Need To Know Schools Are Closed: Today and Friday are training days for school staff, so the grade school kids get to stay home. High schoolers still have a half-day of classes to make it through.

You Need To Know What's So Funny: Take a short trip to Garwood for the fun of it, and help raise money for  the New Jersey Youth Theatre and its upcoming production of "Smokey Joe's Cafe." The Crossroads, at 78 North Avenue in Garwood, is hosting four comedians—Aaron Eisenberg, Kim Jonny, Robin Fox and Renee Monter—for a LMAO performance at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person, available at the door (head over at 7 p.m and you can also enjoy food and drinks before the show).
