School Budget Public Hearings Tonight

Both local districts will hold hearings tonight before final voting on budgets.

You Need To Know Seeing Eye Dogs: The Watchung Hills Regional Interact Club—the community service club—will be after school and is invited students interested in learning more about helping people with impaired vision  and seeing eye dogs to join the meeting. If you'd like to know how you can help, stop by room 106 at 2:30 p.m.

You Need To Know March: This year, March came in like a lion, but nearly left like May...kids 3 years of age and up can stop by the Warren Public Library betweeen 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. tonight for a drop-in craft on the them of how March will go out. 

You Need To Know Public Hearings: The Warren Township Board of Education and the Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education will both hold public hearings at 7 p.m. before final voting on the proposed school budgets for the 2012-2013 school year. If you have something to say about the township schools' $41.5 million plan or the high school district's $36 million budget, here's your chance to speak out.

You Need To Know Traffic Conditions: The township's Traffic Advisory Committee will meet at 7:30 pm. in the municipal complex.

You Need To Know Fundraising Foods: You can dine all week long at Saly G's and TRU Thai and help Watchung Hills Regional's Project Graduation, but today you can also go to the Stirling Diner and Panatieri's in Martinsville. Take a copy of the pdf flyer with this article, and the restaurants will donate 10 percent of your dinner bill to Project Graduation.
