You need to know that a world record can be broken

Woodland Elementary School students will attempt to help break the Guinness Book of World Records for most people doing jumping jacks today at 12:30. Six independent supervisors, timekeepers and witnesses will be in attendance including the Warren Township Mayor and First Lady as well as Warren Township Library Director of Youth Services.

You need to know that you can have a good book discussion

The Book Club meets at the Warren Township Library this evening at 7:15 pm. The discussion will be about Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus, by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley.  908-754-5554 ext. 32. No registration required.

You need to know that your kids can learn how to cook 

The PEP Club is offering a Kid's Cuisine Cooking classes this afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. and 4 to 5 pm. This class is for children ages 3 to 9 with a parent. The event will include a hands-on opportunity to create a variety of fun and creative menus. Basic cooking, measuring, and decorating skills will be discussed. Two recipes, a craft, and recipe page will be part of the fun. Tonight the kids will make lasagna and bread sticks. Register online or call Jan at 908-451-9280

You need to know that there is job search help available

The Our Lady of the Mount Employment Network meets this evening in the Father Peter Room at 7 pm. The group is open to anyone; employed, unemployed, underemployed or those willing to help others find positions. Each meeting a guest speaker will present on topics that range from interviewing skills to how conduct the job search.
