Help Wanted: Zombies, Elves and Bakers

Township is seeking volunteers to help with upcoming events.

The Warren Township Recreation Commission is looking for volunteers to help with this fall's activities—if you have a few moments to spare, look over the list an pick an event to help out. 

If something looks like a good fit for you or your community group, register by calling the Rec Commisison at 908-753-8000, ext. 270. Be sure to names, phone numbers and email addresses, and the number of people available to help when registering. 

Wagner Farm Brite Nites: Oct. 18-21; 26-28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
(or hours in between). Perfer you dress up as zombies or what ever, but not
mandatory. Looking for ticket takers, helpers along the path, actors in scarry
tent, helpers for refreshments. Go to the Wagner Farm website to see what's going, and contact execasst@wfafnj.org to volunteer. Contact Eleanora Hermann to help as a light manager or music manager for the graveyard.

Recreation Letters to Santa: 35 helpers needed Dec. 14th after school until
6 p.m. Pizza and drinks served. Must have good writing skills and penmanship(from 8th grade-12 plus adults). The township supplies a template for letters to help. Meet at the Warren Township Court Room (building between the
library and municipal building). Signup by Dec. 10th. Lots of music and fun!

Recreation Yuletide Bonfire Winter Festival: Looking for helpers to oversee skating, horse carriage rides, drinks, refreshments, music, sled riding, marshmallow roasting, etc—Also looking for bakers to donate deserts for the Jan. 19 event (snow date Jan. 26th) Setup begins at 4 p.m., with events running from 6-9 p.m. 

Recreation Concert "Barbara Harris & The Toys": Greeters needed to welcome attendees to the classic '60s girl group "The Toys" performance at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 1st at WHRHS auditorum (Snow date March 1st at Stonecrest Church).
