High School Basketball Teams Begin State Tournament Action

And the township school board will make tough decisions on the school budget tonight.

You Need To Know The Warren School Board Meets:  The board will be focused on the 2010-2011 school budget, which is currently below the state-imposed cap. Will they bring programs back and go to cap? Will they cut more? Stay tuned—the decision will be made tonight. The meeting is at Central School at 7 p.m.

You Need To Know High School Basketball Teams Are In Playoffs: It's the second season for the basketball team, with the state tournament underway—the girls are playing Linden at home at 7 p.m. The boys play Columbia, at Columbia, at 7 p.m.

You Need To Know The Planning Board Meets Tonight: The board will be considering the proposed 10-lot subdivision, Sleepy Hollow of Warren, as well as the redevelopment plan for the knitting mill property off of DuBois Road. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Susie B. Boyce Meeting Room at the municipal complex.
