High School Board to Take Another Look at Calendars

Will discuss plans for addressing loss of days so early in the school year.

You Need To Know Kids on the Move: The library's popular program for kids up to 3 years old led by Ann Wild—"Music to Move By"—is offered twice today, at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Kids enjoy the activity and energy of Wild, her music gets them going.

You Need To Know Hearing Loss in Kids: Children not responding to teachers or parents can be a sign of hearing loss—but how can you be sure? Head to the library at 7 p.m. for "What Did You Say?," a program presented by audiologist Dr. Robert Woods, founder of Speech and Hearing Associates, on how to recognize the signs of a student with auditory difficulties.  

You Need To Know School Board Agendas: The Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. to discuss possible changes to the school calendar, and to review the district's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

You Need To Know Fun Sports: Get in a great workout and have fun tonight, with the township Recreation Commission's co-ed volleyball and men's basketball programs. Volleyball serves up at 7 p.m. and Central School, while the basketball tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. in the middle school
