There are reasons to visit the school all day long.

Wagner Farms' Brite Nites Halloween events kick off this weekend, but Warren school kids can get a sneak preview today and tomorrow.

You Need To Know Healthy Bones: Join the Healthy Bones exercise class meeting at Trinity United Church at 10 a.m. and learn techniques for strengthening bones and reducing the impacts of osteoporosis.

You Need To Know College Recruiters: The Watchung Hills Regional Guidance Department arranges for college recruiters to visit the school so students have  a chance to meet with them and learn more about the schools they represent. Today, reps from Notre Dame, Rider University, Tulane, Towson and West Chester will visit.

You Need To Know Varsity Sports: Barring a schedule change due to rain, the Watchung Hills girls tennis team will host Ridge today at 3:45 p.m. Of course, the weather won't impact the girls volleyball match against Mount St. Mary at 5:30 p.m. inside, in gym 5/6.

You Need To Know About Emergency Help: The Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce has arranged an informational meeting with a FEMA official to discuss federal assistance programs available to area residents and businesses affected by Hurricane Irene.

The meeting, set for 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 19 at the on Madisonville Road, in Basking Ridge, is open to businesses and residents from other communities that experienced flooding or other storm damage in late August, said Al LiCata, executive director of the chamber.

You Need To Know High School Helpers: Many classroom activities are only possible because of the fundraising help of school Parent-Teacher Organizations—and it's no different at Watchung Hills Regional High School. If you'd like to know more about the school's PTO and its members, stop in at the school library at 7:30 p.m. for the annual meeting.
