It's All About Schools' Spring Activities

As we look ahead at this week, there's a lot happening in the schools.

There are  a lot of activities in Warren in the spring, especially at the schools. Here's a rundown of some of the things we'll be bringing to you this week on Patch:

Monday's Warren Township Board of Education meeting: The board meets at the middle school and will include recognition for the achievements of some of the school's students this year. We'll bring you details on who did what when.

Tuesday's Watchung Hills Regional High School board meeting: The board meets Tuesday and will vote on a resolution to seek bids for an annual concession for the new press box to be built this summer. We'll bring you the details of the deal—and the discussion of the board members.

State Tournament action: The men's lacrosse, baseball and softball teams begin their quests for state titles on Monday—we'll have coverage along the way as the teams progress.

Beads of Courage: A project at the high school is helping provide a touch of comfort to children undergoing treatments for cancers. We'll have more on this great project and how students at the school are helping.
