Millington Bank Seeks Volunteers for Relay Event

Watchung Hills' Relay for Life set for June 15-16.

For the 12th year in a row, Millington Savings Bank’s Banking on a Cure team will participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.  The event will be held at on June 15-16.

The Relay for Life is an overnight event where teams camp out, barbecue, dance and take turns walking around a track “relay” style to raise funds to fight cancer.

Susan Schumann, Banking on a Cure team captain and Millington Savings Bank VP/Marketing stated, “We all have had someone in our lives that has in some way been affected by this disease.  We are dedicated to the Relay for Life so that we can remember those who we have lost and celebrate those who have survived.  More than anything, we participate to raise money to advance the fight against cancer.”
