Poll: Will We Have Another Bad Winter?

After a year of unusually harsh weather, are we due for a change?

According to the Farmer's Almanac, we can expect a blizzard this week...and why not? For the last 12 months, we've had unusually harsh weather—so what should be different in the coming weeks?

But many people have noticed signs of a milder winter: songbirds, like robins and blue jays, are still in the area, and the squirrels aren't acting as crazy as last year.

Last year, we had multiple blizzards in the winter, with unusually cold weather into May—anyone recall the frigid wind blowing on April 16 that spoiled the township's Earth Day and Easter parade plans?

Are we perhaps entering a period of less extreme weather, with some cold spells for sure, but no massive snows?
