Roads Opening, Power Returning

Officials describe "a lot of activity" by utility crews.

About 1,700 Warren customers of JCP&L have had service restored today, including businesses and residences in the area around Mountain Boulevard and Mt. Bethel Road.

"We're seeing a lot of activity today, and I expect we'll see even more tomorrow," Township Administrator Mark Krane said.

In addition to the utility work, crews have been able to clean debris and wires from county roads in the area, which are now open—including Hillcrest, Stirling, Morning Glory roads in Warren, and Mt. Horeb Road in Bridgewater (below Liberty Corner Road).
