School and Planning Boards, Township Committee Meeting This Week

A look ahead at what's going to be featured on Warren Patch this week.

We've got a full week ahead for you, including nearly daily sports coverage of Watchung Hills Regional High School sports teams. We're looking forward to adding spring recreational programs soon, too, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, we have Monday night's Warren Township Board of Education meeting we'll cover, along with Thursday's Township Committee meeting. The committee will be saluting a special group of residents, the Recreation Commission's Volunteers of the Year—the people who help make all of the great Rec programs in town work.

We'll also keep you up-to-date on the Planning Board review of the Berkeley Aquatics Center proposal. Many residents from Warren and Berkeley Heights near the proposed site are opposing the project.

We'll also let you know first who's filed to run in the June primaries for the two seats on the Township Committee. Seats held by Mal Plager and Frank Salvato will be up for election in November.

And for this week's You Said It video feature, we'll introduce you to the school board candidates.
