Scrimmages, Workouts and a Kids Cooking Class

Many events scheduled today and tomorrow—but check with sponsors in case of cancellations.

You Need To Know Fall Sports: There's a bunch of varsity scrimmage games coming up today and tomorrow. At 10 a.m. today, Watchung Hills Regional's soccer teams are scheduled to be on the field. The boys will travel to Kenilworth for a game against David Brearly High School, while the girls are at home against Metuchen. On Wednesday, it's he girls field hockey team traveling to Bernards High School at 10 a.m., while the girls volleyball team takes on Jonathan Dayton High School at 11 a.m.

You Need To Know Kids Can Cook: PEP Club is proving it can be fun to learn for parents and kids can learn cooking skills. Today's class, at 11 a.m., class commences with lessons on making stuffed shells ... and ice cream.

You Need To Know Yoga, Yoga, Yoga: It's not an Animal House party, but it's a lot healthier: it's yoga and you can partake in a number of sessions today and tomorrow. Head to Trinity United Church at 10 a.m. today, or join step up to an intermediate class with Pamela Nixon tomorrow at noon at Onyx Mind Body.
