SHARE PHOTOS: Super Bowl In New Jersey

It could be the only time we'll ever see a Super Bowl in New Jersey.

So we're asking Patch readers to help us capture of what could be a once-in-a-lifetime event.

We're looking for photos of anything - traffic heading into the stadium, tailgates, celebrities walking in through private entrances..oh, and photos of the game, too, between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.

Please tweet or send photos via Instagram using the hashtag #patchsuperbowlnj

PLEASE NOTE: We put up some initial photos of Saturday's Rutgers basketball game, and the AFC divisional playoff game between the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts, to show how this could work for today's game.

I'm the biggest football fan around, but the Super Bowl is the most over-hyped event in the world.

It's all about selling product, marketing, it's all about the money, not the so called "sport." In most cases, the sports stadiums and the lands on which they are sited are tax payer funded (directly and indirectly), thank you very much. The sport in question is about getting bigger and better concussions, brain damage and early onset dementia. Rah, rah, go team go, please.

These pictures illustrate why it is that "all of the focus" was on NYC when the game itself is within New Jersey's statelines. Pictures of people in the parking lot of a stadium located in a swamp. Really gets the juices flowing.

After that debacle, New York can claim this years Super Bowl.

We should have kept the GW closed so people would know that there is a difference between New Jersey and New York. The Super Bowl was held in NEW JERSEY not NY. NY does not have an NFL Stadium.

New York can have our stadium after that game.

I think that it was Denver’s curse of the Tebow!

NY does have an NFL stadium, Ralph Wilson Stadium. Home of the Buffalo Bills, NY's forgotten team.
