"Rudy," from 1993, tells the story of the most unlikely hero to play football at Notre Dame—his grades were a little low, his athletic skills were poor, and he was only half the size of the other players. But through his hard work and drive, he earned a spot on the field.

Join Warren resident Ned Bolcar, who played on two Notre Dame Championship teams, before the movie at 7 p.m. Aug. 18 to find out what it really took to play for the team during its heyday. Kids can throw around footballs and get autographed pictures. The movie begins at 8 p.m.

The feature for Aug. 11 will be "Madagascar Escape 2 Africa," a follow-up to the 2005 animated feature, "Madagascar."
