Stretching to Help Battle Breast Cancer

Your pilates or yoga session today could help fund research.

 

You Need To Know Pink-a-thon: will hold a fundraiser for breast cancer research today at 8:30 a.m., donating 10 percent of the day's proceeds from mat pilates and yoga to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

You Need To Know The Festival of Lights: Seniors at the will celebrate Diwali, the Indian holiday celebrating the victory of good over evil, today at 10:30 a.m. Participants will learn some traditions, as well as Indian dances and appetizers and desserts.

You Need To Know Senior Nights: Fall sports are wrapping up and the Watchung Hills Regional varsity teams are celebrating the contributions of their seniors—tonight it's the field hockey team's turn at 7 p.m. The team will salute the seniors before tonight's game against Ridge.

You Need To Know Middle School Sports: Did you know the middle school has sports? Today, three school teams are in action: the boys soccer team is at home, hosting Bernardsville, while the girls team is at Bernardsville, and the  cross country team travels to Madison for a tri-meet with JP Case.

You Need To Know Where to Find Ghosts: A presentation at 7 p.m. tonight in the Warren Township Library Program Room, will highlight spots in New Jersey and New York you'll want to visit if you're hunting for ghosts, spooks and specters. The featured locations are the subject of "Ghosthunting in New Jersey & New York City," from the America's Haunted Road Trip series, by L'Aura Hladik, of the New Jersey Ghosthunters Society.
