Theater & Music Abound This Week

There are also a few meetings to keep you informed over the next seven days.

It's a very musical seven days coming up, with a number of performances you may want to check out. There is also an interesting lecture, as well as a BOE meeting you can attend.

Here's a look at what else is happening this week:

Monday-The Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education will be holding its meeting at the library at 7 p.m.

Tuesday-History professor Alan Cooper will present a program about the Lord Stirling Manor in Bernards Township in Meeting Room 1 of the at 7 p.m.

Wednesday-The Warren Walkers will have their weekly walk at 11 a.m. at the municipal courtyard.

Thursday-The will be the site of a lecture on Oscar-nominated songs worth singing. Fred Miller will present the lecture-in-song event in the Meeting Room at 11 a.m.

Friday-The will be hosting a dinner theater called "Shiver Me Timbers-A Caribbean Pirate Adventure!" at 7 p.m. The show is presented by the Riddlebrood Touring Theatre Company with a four-course dinner.

Saturday-Bob Marino will performed a free live concert at the at 3 p.m. Special guests will include Barbra Lawson and Joe Cerisano.

Sunday-A production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Ric's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" will be presented by the Somerset Valley Players at 2 p.m. It will also be shown at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
