VIDEO: Joe Cerisano Performs in Town

Warren's weekly concert series adds local singer-songwriter.

Joe Cerisano's "Music Under the Stars" performance was given under the ceiling lights of the Susie B. Boyce Meeting Room, Thursday, but that was fine with the singer.

"Man, I just hate the hot weather," he told the audience of about 50 at the municipal complex.

With two guest performers accompanying him, the trio alternated between Cerisano's original songs and classics, including The Beatles' "Norwegian Wood" and "This Boy," "All I Have to Do is Dream" by the Everly Brothers, Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine" and more.

Cerisano's original songs included "Carbon Copy," a tribute to his coal miner father—featured in the video.

The Music Under the Stars concerts, sponsored by the Recreation Commission, continue July 19, with Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society performing early jazz classics.
