Visitors From Across the Area Enjoy Chabad's Music and Art Festival
A day of displays of art and live music draws both Jewish and non-Jewish visitors.
The Music and Arts Festival at Chabad is a day of fun that is fast becoming a premier summer destination for families and communities in New Jersey.
This year’s festival attracted nearly 1,000 people who came to enjoy a day of fun filled music and entertainment from four great bands who performed on the center’s outdoor stage.
Four very diverse, yet musically plaesing bands performed at the festival. They were TEVA, which performed with a unique concept of eclectic blend of funk, fusion, rock, jazz, R&B, Latin, Middle Eastern, with soulful lyrics, and imaginative instrumentalism with a live jam-band feel; Reality Addiction, a New Jersey-based Alt Rock band which has performed with artists such as Natasha Bedingfield, Evan and Jaron, Max Bemis of Say Anything, Plain White T’s, and Ben Kenney of Incubus; Soulfarm, which returned for the second year with a wide range of influences, from authentic Jam, blues and rock, with threads of Middle Eastern melodies; and the Moshe Hecht Band with folk, rock, reggae and Chassidic melodies.

The festival also brought many vendors, some local and some who came from as far as Oklahoma and Los Angeles who displayed a variety of art and hand crafted jewlery.
