Some people love the feast and the fellowship of Thanksgiving so much that they'd like to repeat it twice (or maybe more!) Others may need a place to celebrate with friends and family far away, or they want to take home a turkey feast to enjoy.
In Warren, tickets now are on sale for the Mount Horeb United Methodist Church’s annual Turkey Dinner, to be held Saturday, Nov. 9, with two seatings scheduled at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Takeout dinners also are available.
The dinner, to be held in the church’s Codington Hall at 42 Liberty Corner Road in Warren, will feature a buffet of roasted turkey with all the trimmings as well as homemade desserts, lemonade, coffee and tea, according to information from the church.
Tickets for the Turkey Dinner are $15 for adults, and $8 for children who are 10 years old and under.
While tickets are available at the door, reservations are recommended as this event traditionally sells-out. Take-out orders also are $15 per serving.
Place takout orders by Nov. 9
Reservations and take-out orders can be made by phone 908-647‐7739. Reservations also can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or online at www.mthorebumc.info. Please place take-out orders before noon on Nov. 9. Orders can be picked-up after 4 p.m. on Nov. 9.
