Have a hearty appetite or just like breakfast? Or even just like spending time with a local fire department while helping to benefit it? We've got just the thing for you this weekend. We also have entertainment and a luck-of-the-draw option for you.

1. Big Basket Bonanza
Where/When: Ted Blumm 4-H Center at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension (Bridewater); Sunday, 1 p.m.
Why Go: You'll have chances to win hundreds of prizes by drawing, and there will be an additional 50/50 raffle.
Pricing: $20

2. County Recycling Day/Lending a Hand
Where/When: Somerset County Recycling Center; Saturday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go: Not only can you de-clutter your home in a green way, The Food Bank Network of Somerset County and the Leadership Somerset Class of 2008 will also be collecting at the center.
Pricing: Free

3. Pancake Breakfast
Where/When: Basking Ridge Fire Co. No. 1 Fire House; Sunday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Why Go: It's a hearty, fun meal of all-you-can eat pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. The fourth annual breakfast promises to be a fun time for all.
Pricing: $7 for adults; $5 for senior citizens and children; children under 3 are free

4. Velveteen Rabbit
Where/When: (Hillsborough); Friday, 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m.
Why Go: Because it's your last weekend to see this production of the beloved children's story, which has been on stage since Feb. 18.
Pricing: $12

5. "Rent," School Edition
Where/When: ; Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why Go: The young cast has worked hard, and the school edition should be a lot of fun for all ages.
Pricing: $16 for adults; $12 for senior citizens and students
